Chocolate dipped strawberries These chocolate dipped strawberries are a sweet treat for your sweetheart. Choose from macadamia nuts, desiccated coconut, 100s & 1000s for dipping. Dessert Print this recipe Details Serves: 20To prep: 15 minutesTo cook: 2 minutesDifficulty: EasyNumber of ingredients: 2 Nutrition per servingEnergy: 293kJProtein: 1gFat - total: 3.8g- saturated fat: 2.3gCarboydrate: 7.5gFibre: 0.6gSodium: 9mg Ingredients 250g milk chocolate 250g (or 20 medium) strawberries Dipper options: crushed macadamia nuts or almonds desiccated coconut edible gold dust powder dried rose petals or other edible dried flowers 100s & 1000s Method Wash strawberries well, including stalks and leaves, and place on a paper towel to dry If using dippers, set out the crushed nuts etc in little saucers Break up chocolate and melt in bowl either in the microwave at 20 second increments on high, stiring between, until all the chocolate is liquid. Or place a bowl over a saucepan of boiling or simmering water, stirring chocolate throughout as to not burn. Take off the heat once all chocolate is melted Place bowl of melted chocolate between strawberries and dipper of choice Prepare a clean large plate or deep plastic container with baking paper Dip strawberries into the melted chocolate one at a time, coat well, then dip or roll the strawberry into the dipper of choice and rest and on the clean plate/ container Once finished place the strawberries in the fridge until ready to serve
