Ingredients

300g firm tofu (pressed and cut into cubes) 

2 cloves garlic, crushed  

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated 

2 cups broccoli (florets only) 

1 red capsicum, sliced 

1 cup mushrooms, sliced 

2 tablespoon tamari, reduced salt 

1 tablespoon sesame oil 

1 tablespoon rice vinegar 

2 tablespoons sesame seeds  

Method

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. 
  2. Add the tofu cubes and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside. 
  3. In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and vegetables. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender. 
  4. Add the tofu back into the pan, then stir in the soy sauce and rice vinegar. Toss to combine. 
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired, and season with salt and pepper. 
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
