Diabetes health professionals and researchers unite for tech on their way to the IDF World Diabetes Congress 6 December 2024 At the Australasian Diabetes Congress (ADC) in August this year, we asked diabetes health professionals and researchers to UNITE FOR TECH. We had hundreds of attendees post photos and messages, adding their voices to the fight for fair and equitable access to diabetes technologies like insulin pumps and CGM devices. They shared incredible stories about seeing the life changing and life saving impact of these technologies in people’s lives. We know the vital role these health professionals and researchers play in improving the lives of people living with diabetes, and we are committed to expanding their horizons, supporting their education and increasing Australia’s global diabetes network. For those who supported our UNITE FOR TECH campaign, we gave them the opportunity to enter a competition to win a travel scholarship of up to $5000 to help cover the cost of attending the IDF World Diabetes Congress 2025 in Bangkok. We’re excited to announce the winners of these scholarships from each state / territory!
