Diabetes Australia talks with Federal Health Minister 15 February 2017 Diabetes Australia President Hon. Judi Moylan AO and CEO Greg Johnson have been in Canberra this week meeting with the Federal Government about type 1 diabetes initiatives including the $54 million Continuous Glucose Monitoring funding promised at the last election, diabetes and schools and concerns of parents, and diabetes research. Today at a diabetes research announcement Federal Health Minister Hon Greg Hunt mentioned he had met with Diabetes Australia yesterday and was confident that an announcement about the new CGM program would be made in coming weeks. We will keep you updated.
