Diabetes Australia 2017 Grant Round Applications Now Open 21 March 2016 Diabetes Australia is pleased to announce the 2017 Grant Round is now open for applications. The Diabetes Australia Research Program has invested $26 million in 388 diabetes research projects across Australia over the past nine years. This year the Diabetes Australia Research Program should provide over $3.5 million to vital diabetes research projects across Australia. Applications for the 2017 Grant Round are now open and projects across all areas of diabetes research will be considered. Projects focused on self-monitoring & self-management of diabetes, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and diabetes, and behavioural research are encouraged. Grants may be awarded in the following categories: two $150,000 Millennium Awards – one for type 1 diabetes and one for type 2 diabetes; and an unspecified number of General Grants, up to $60,000 per grant Applications close Friday, 6 May 2016 For application forms and more information, please visit the Program Management page.
