Diabetes Australia President appointed to the Council of the National Health and Medical Research Council 3 October 2018 Diabetes Australia’s President, the Hon. Judi Moylan, was recently appointed to the new Council of the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHRMC). The Council is an advisory body supporting the NHMRC’s critical national role in shaping and supporting research to address Australia’s current and future health challenge. Every year the Council provides more than $800 million to support a wide range of medical research projects. Ms Moylan joins some of Australia’s leading researchers and health administrators on the Council. Her expertise will be an invaluable. Australian Health Minister Hon. Greg Hunt made the announcement late last week.
