National strategy consultation 14 April 2015 Diabetes Australia welcomes the release of the new National Diabetes Strategy framework for action. “Diabetes is a big, urgent and serious challenge for Australia. Around 280 Australians develop diabetes every day- that’s about 100,000 more people with diabetes in the past year” according to Diabetes Australia’s CEO Prof Greg Johnson.
