Online Treatment for Depression for People with Diabetes 1 August 2014 The value of an internet – treatment program for people with depression and living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes is being explored by researchers from St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. They are currently seeking participants Australia-wide. The program provides clinician-guided, proven internet-based learning to treat depression by helping individuals understand, manage and change thoughts and actions. It involves completing 6 lessons over ten weeks at no charge to participants. If you are living with diabetes (type 1 or 2) and depression, a computer with internet access and a printer, and are 18 years or over, this may be the program for you.
