For Michelle, FreeStyle Libre 2 provides her “relief” in her glucose management.

“My FreeStyle Moments are often in the gym. During a pilates or yoga class it’s super beneficial to be able to quickly scan my sensor and check if my levels are dropping too quickly during exercise.”

Michelle is currently planning her first pregnancy, and says that “using the FreeStyle Libre 2 has really helping me managed my sugar levels, helping me to avoid the extreme highs and lows while I prepare myself for my next challenge, becoming a mum.”

Having retired at 53, Michael now owns a small beef cattle farm. He and his wife both love retirement and the joy that farming gives them.

Michael has been using FreeStyle Libre 2 for the last 16 months, and says that he now has “confidence to do things knowing that it is monitoring my glucose levels all the time”.

Michael shares one of his MyFreeStyle Moments:

“I never knew that breakfast caused my glucose levels to spike so high. With the graph, I had the evidence and so split breakfast into two small meals rather than one large meal and so removed the high glucose level spikes.”

Michael’s message to the community? “Use the tool to take control and manage your glucose rather than letting your glucose manage you.”
